Reethi Beach Resort’s Oktoberfest with Authentic Bavarian Flavors
Reethi Beach Resort embraced the festive spirit of Oktoberfest by hosting a themed dinner celebration filled with the flavors and charm of Bavaria. Guests were treated to a delightful menu featuring traditional German favorites such as Beer Glazed Brats and Sauerkraut, German Red Cabbage, Bavarian Pretzels, and Gourmet Beer Cheese, and more paired with a special beer bucket promotion and lively Oktoberfest tunes that set the mood for the night. The resort’s culinary team added a touch of island flair, ensuring that the dining experience was both authentic and unique.
“We wanted our guests to enjoy an evening that not only celebrated the essence of Oktoberfest but also brought together the diverse cultures and backgrounds represented here at Reethi Beach,” said Executive Chef Farish, who led the culinary efforts. “Oktoberfest has always been a celebration of unity, and we wanted to recreate that inclusive atmosphere in the form of taste, where every guest could feel a part of the festivities, regardless of where they’re from.”
While the evening was a nod to the strong presence of German and European visitors who frequent Reethi Beach, the resort ensured that everyone felt included. Reethi Beach Resort is privileged to host many loyal repeat guests from Germany and across Europe, who visit the island year after year to enjoy the warm hospitality and natural beauty. Their continued patronage adds a special vibrancy to the island, and we deeply appreciate their role in making Reethi Beach a beloved destination in the Maldives.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our talented culinary team, led by Executive Chef Farish, for their hard work and creativity in crafting a truly delightful dinner spread. The passion and dedication they demonstrated were evident in each dish, making the Oktoberfest-themed dinner a highlight of the evening.
“At Reethi Beach, we strive to celebrate all cultures and regions through our themed dinners and events, promoting unity and inclusion,” added Valentin Osolos the General Manager of the resort. “From Oktoberfest to other celebrations, our aim is to create an environment where our beloved guests can share in the joy of diverse traditions.”
While Oktoberfest may have its roots in Germany, the themed dinner was a celebration for everyone, showcasing Reethi Beach Resort’s commitment to honoring various global traditions. The positive feedback received highlighted the resort’s ability to make guests feel at home while introducing them to new cultural experiences during their stay.
