Singapore Airlines and Vietnam Airlines Signs a Memorandum of Understanding

Singapore Airlines and Vietnam Airlines have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to increase their commercial partnership. Initially, the airlines will share codeshare agreements to improve connectivity between the two countries. After exploring opportunities for codeshare arrangements, the agreement will expand to include other points and destinations served by Singapore Airlines. Additionally, the two airlines will work together to offer more value-added options for their customers. Both airlines have a long-standing partnership which will be further strengthened by this MoU, providing quality services to customers flying on both airlines.

According to Mr. Le Hong Ha, the CEO of Vietnam Airlines, the agreement with Singapore Airlines is a crucial partnership for Vietnam Airlines, as Singapore remains one of the airline’s most important markets. He hopes that the agreement will lead to a more seamless experience for customers and provide a foundation for the airlines’ future partnership.

Mr. Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines, believes that the established networks of both airlines will support each other to strengthen connectivity between the two ASEAN countries and to key markets worldwide. He believes that the agreement will offer more options and greater value for customers, support economic growth, and encourage tourism.
