Neyvaa 2, a new world record attempt planned by Freedive Maldives, will take place in just 15 more days.
On October 1, 2022, most people will ever perform static apnea simultaneously as part of this record-breaking attempt. The contestants are now being trained and prepared for the event by Freedive Maldives.
This event, which was planned to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of 50 years of tourism in the Maldives, will spread the love of freediving around the world and put the Maldives on the map for this activity. Neyvaa 2 will conduct static apnea as a collective act at the designated time in various locations throughout the Maldives.
Neyvaa 2 also emphasizes raising public awareness of climate change. The event, which promotes awareness of the global climate catastrophe that is harming our island vacation resort, uses the hashtag #1breath4theoceans.
