The data has shown that Google Maps had 106 million downloads, which was the highest rank, for the second rank Uber app had 94 million downloads and lastly for the third Booking.com sported 63 million downloads globally.

Majority of the travelers prefer booking the hotel and other services that they are seeking via online. As the most-downloaded online Travel Agency apps globally in 2021, Booking.com, Airbnb and Hopper have topped the list amongst the top 3. Booking.com revealed to have gotten 63 million downloads, Airbnb 44 million downloads and Hopper has shown 19 million downloads globally. It has been shown that during a survey conducted by Booking.com in the US that more than 58% of Americans prefer travelling during off-peak season to avoid crowds, whereas Romanians are more open about the idea of traveling during the off-peak season.
