Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and Hard Rock Cafe Maldives have once again demonstrated the power of music, community, and purpose through their Pinktober 2025 initiatives, culminating in the official handover of funds to the Cancer Society of Maldives at a special event held at Hard Rock Cafe Maldives in the first week of April 2026. The initiative successfully raised USD 8,424, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Cancer Society of Maldives in support of breast cancer awareness and screening programs.

As part of the global Hard Rock Heals Foundation campaign, the destination brought together guests, team members, and the local community throughout October 2025 to raise awareness and funds in support of breast cancer. Through a series of engaging and meaningful activities, the campaign transformed everyday experiences into impactful contributions.

A standout moment of the campaign was the Pinktober auction held on 17 October 2025, where a limited-edition Epiphone Songmaker DR-100 acoustic guitar was auctioned in a live bidding format. In addition, two exclusive Pinktober acoustic guitars were featured, with 100% of the proceeds dedicated to the Cancer Society of Maldives.

Beyond the headline auction, multiple touchpoints across the destination contributed to the fundraising efforts. A silent auction at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives featured curated hotel stay and dining experiences, while the Food & Beverage team introduced Pink Burgers and Pink Drinks, with USD 2 from each sale donated to the cause. Housekeeping added a creative touch with a specially curated “Pink Room,” where upgrade proceeds supported the initiative, while VIBE offered a Pinktober electric guitar rental experience, with all proceeds going towards the campaign.

The initiative also saw strong internal engagement, with team members actively participating by purchasing Pinktober t-shirts, reinforcing a shared commitment to the cause. Community-driven events such as a Pinktober Fun Run and Dance Fitness sessions further amplified awareness and participation.
