JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort presents The Craft of the Cocktail, a bar takeover in collaboration with RED Bar, New Delhi, from November 25 to 27, 2026. Featuring mixologist Virender Singh, the three-evening collaboration will bring RED Bar’s approach to cocktail creation to a series of settings across the island, each offering a different atmosphere as the sun sets over the Maldives.

Located in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, RED Bar is known for its distinctive identity and explorative approach to cocktails. Its menu brings together expressive flavors and combinations, reflecting a creative approach to contemporary mixology. RED Bar was featured on the 2025 list of India’s 30 Best Bars and continues to share its distinctive approach to mixology through guest shifts and bar takeovers in destinations around the world.

Leading the takeover is Virender Singh, a mixologist with eight years of experience in beverage creation. Drawing on his knowledge of ingredients and flavor pairings, Virender brings a thoughtful and creative approach to developing cocktails, balancing techniques with a spirit of experimentation.

The takeover will unfold across three evenings, each in a different setting. At Nikkei Bar, guests can enjoy signature cocktails at the overwater bar, accompanied by panoramic ocean views and the colors of the setting sun. At JW Garden, the experience turns to a garden-to-glass approach, drawing on fresh ingredients and tropical flavors in a lush island setting. The final evening at Wahoo Bar brings the experience to the beachfront, where cocktails can be enjoyed with the shoreline just steps away.
