This Summer, A Way Well, Trips to Maldives, and the Heritance Aarah Experience are bringing "Harmony by the Sea" to the Maldives for a six-day immersive wellness festival taking place from 19 to 24 August 2026 under the theme "Where Wellness Meets Paradise." The festival brings together global wellness facilitators, immersive experiences, and the natural beauty of the Maldives for an event organisers describe as unlike a typical retreat.
A Festival Beyond the Ordinary
Harmony by the Sea has been conceived as a thoughtfully curated, six-day immersive festival in which world-class wellness meets the breathtaking natural beauty of the Maldives. Set across pristine beaches, turquoise lagoons, and open skies, every element of the programme has been intentionally designed to nurture the body, calm the mind, and inspire genuine human connection. Across the six days, guests will move through floating immersive breathwork, fragrance-infused yoga, dolphin meditation cruises, cacao ceremonies, creative workshops, cold plunges, and beachfront sound healing, an itinerary intended to make wellness both transformative and deeply memorable.

Rather than focusing on a single modality, as is common with conventional retreats, Harmony by the Sea has been built around a fuller expression of wellness. The programme brings together internationally acclaimed facilitators, immersive experiences, outdoor adventures, mindful movement, community dining, music, play, and luxury hospitality into a single destination festival. The result, organisers say, is an event where guests do not simply attend scheduled sessions but live, connect, and transform together in one of the world's most extraordinary island settings.
Built on Three Pillars: Mind, Body, and Spirit
The philosophy underpinning Harmony by the Sea rests on three interconnected pillars.
Mind – Clarity & Stillness, the festival invites guests to quiet the noise of everyday life. Through guided meditation, breathwork, and mindful immersion in nature, this strand of programming is designed to restore mental clarity, reduce stress, and cultivate a profound sense of inner peace.

Body – Restore & Renew, the festival's curated therapies draw on both ancient healing traditions and modern wellness science. Ocean-infused spa rituals sit alongside personalised movement sessions on the beach, each designed to restore vitality, ease physical tension, and honour the body's natural intelligence.
Spirit – Connect & Transform, and set against the infinite horizon of the Indian Ocean, the festival fosters a deeper reconnection with guests' truest selves. Spiritual practices, sunset ceremonies, and immersive nature experiences form the backbone of this pillar, with organisers describing the intended outcome as guests leaving transformed: lighter, grounded, and renewed.
Signature and Extraordinary Experiences
Several standout offerings anchor the festival's programme. The Floating Sound Bath invites guests to float effortlessly on the water while healing sound frequencies create one of the festival's most immersive experiences. Yoga, in Every Form spans a wide spectrum of practice, from face yoga to restorative yoga and heart and hip opening flows, designed to nourish every layer of a guest's being. Vision Board by the Sea offers a guided creative workshop in which guests build a visual representation of their future while watching the Maldivian sunset.

Beyond these signature experiences, the festival's broader programme includes dolphin discovery cruises and snorkelling excursions, floating multidimensional breathwork sessions, padel tournaments, and a cacao ceremony held during the sunset hours. Every element, according to organisers, has been thoughtfully curated to help guests connect more deeply with themselves, their community, and the extraordinary natural beauty of the Maldives.
A Six-Day Journey
The festival unfolds across six distinct days, each with its own theme and rhythm.
Day 1, Arrival and Welcome, opens with a warm Maldivian welcome that invites guests to slow down from the moment they arrive. Gentle movement, an intimate intention-setting circle, and a beachfront communal dinner create the space for strangers to become a community, setting the tone for the days ahead.
Day 2, In Rhythm with the Tide, begins with sunrise yoga, breathwork, and journaling before guests move into ocean adventures, snorkelling, and the festival's Wellness Village. The day then transitions into immersive floating breathwork in the pool, face yoga, guided meditation, and a starlit dinner, blending movement, mindfulness, and connection with nature.

Day 3, Awaken Your Mind, is built as a sensory-led day that awakens both body and spirit. Fragrance-infused yoga and a mindful dolphin cruise are followed by creative workshops, mantra meditation, and a cacao ceremony paired with ecstatic dance. The day closes with a lively beach celebration under the stars.
Day 4, Art of Ease, is dedicated to deep restoration. The day features transformational immersive breathwork, energising movement, nourishing culinary experiences, reef exploration, and vision-boarding. As evening falls, guests unwind through Yoga Nidra and a therapeutic sound bath, before gathering for a relaxed cinema night on the beach.

Day 5, The Deep Exhale, brings play and presence together in a day built around movement and community. Partner yoga, aqua fitness, padel and pickleball tournaments, cold plunges, and mindset circles invite guests to embrace adventure while reflecting on their personal transformation, followed by a sunset cruise and a celebratory farewell dinner on the beach.
Day 6, The Art of Letting Go, closes the festival with a gentle, heartfelt farewell. A sunrise Heart and Hip Opening Yoga practice, breathwork, and sound healing help guests integrate their experience before a closing ritual, farewell breakfast, and departure, sending guests home with renewed energy, deeper friendships, and lasting memories.
