Siyam World Introduces Unprecedented Equine Adventure
Since its inception, Siyam World Maldives has been redefining the hospitality industry, setting new benchmarks, and pushing boundaries. This extraordinary island resort has become a game changer with its latest addition – the Maldives’ first and largest horse ranch. It now welcomes a trio of delightful mixed-breed ponies named Cherry, Rose, and Honey. With this new equine family, Siyam World aims to offer a unique and thrilling experience for its young guests aged between 4 and 11.99 years.
Nestled amidst the stunning beauty of the Indian Ocean, Siyam World’s horse ranch spans an impressive 16,000 square meters, making it one of the most significant island resorts in the Maldives. It is 25% larger than the renowned Aintree Racecourse in the UK. The ranch’s development involved meticulous planning to ensure it meets the highest standards for the well-being and comfort of its equine residents.
Before arriving at Siyam World, the three ponies underwent a comprehensive approval process led by the Maldives’ Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources & Agriculture. Consequently, they have made history by becoming the first ponies to be admitted to a Maldivian resort. The resort’s commitment to ensuring the ponies’ welfare is evident through the presence of a dedicated team of expert hostlers and veterinarians who have gone above and beyond to acclimatize the ponies to island life.
Overseeing the well-being of these magnificent creatures is a specially trained equestrian vet who has taken permanent residency at the resort. This vet will ensure no detail is overlooked, providing comprehensive care and attention to the Indian horses in the archipelago.
Siyam World’s dedication to providing the ponies with a safe and comfortable environment is evident in the ranch’s modern amenities. The fully equipped space includes designated stabling, well-appointed stalls, stocked feed and tack rooms, and refreshing water troughs. In addition, there are dedicated units for hay and bedding storage, expansive fenced paddock fields, and a state-of-the-art vet clinic. Regular checks by the Ministry will further enhance the ongoing independent oversight of the animals’ welfare.
Resort Manager Ausy Waseem expressed his excitement about the new offerings, stating, “At Siyam World, we strive to provide an inviting and professional atmosphere while maintaining the charm of our unique location. We are delighted to offer an exceptional experience for equine enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.”
With its latest addition to the pony family and a world-class horse ranch, Siyam World Maldives is poised to captivate the hearts of its guests, providing an unforgettable equine adventure against the backdrop of the mesmerizing Indian Ocean landscape.
