Minor Hotels Appoints Ian Di Tullio as Chief Commercial Officer

Bangkok-based hospitality group, Minor Hotels, has recently appointed Ian Di Tullio, Ph.D., as its new Chief Commercial Officer. The appointment, effective from June 2023, signifies the company’s commitment to bolstering its commercial endeavors and expanding its global presence.

Before joining Minor Hotels, Di Tullio served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Europe at Accor, leading the commercial management and marketing efforts for Europe and North Africa. Di Tullio demonstrated a remarkable ability to drive commercial success with nearly 3,000 hotels under his purview, ranging from economy to luxury and employing diverse operating models.

What sets Di Tullio apart is his proven track record and extensive expertise in loyalty, analytics, customer engagement, and digital strategies. He spearheaded groundbreaking innovations in customer loyalty, digital marketing, and distribution at Accor, Qatar Airways, and Air Canada.

Di Tullio has consistently excelled in managing multicultural teams at senior levels with a wealth of global management experience in the travel and hospitality, aviation, consulting, retail, and media sectors across three continents. His impressive credentials include a Ph.D. in Marketing from Cranfield University in the UK, an executive MBA from Queen’s University in Canada, and executive education in Marketing Analytics from The Wharton School.

Beyond his academic achievements, Di Tullio is a respected figure in the industry, often invited as a guest lecturer at prestigious universities and a frequent speaker at commercial, digital, loyalty, analytics, and customer engagement events worldwide. Fluent in English, French, and Italian, his multilingual skills enable effective communication in diverse business environments.
