Hery Kuswoyo, who joined the Banyan Tree family in 2010 as the Executive Assistant Manager – Food and Beverage at Banyan Tree Bangkok, has been named the General Manager of Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Dhawa Ihuru. After his tenure at Banyan Tree Bangkok, Hery was appointed to the pre-opening team at Banyan Tree Macau later that year. In 2015, he served as the Hotel Manager at Banyan Tree Phuket and Angsana Laguna Phuket. Moving to Banyan Tree's Corporate Office in Singapore in 2016, Hery assumed the role of Director – Regional Operations, overseeing operational issues raised by General Managers and finding effective solutions. In 2020, he returned to hotel operations as the pre-opening General Manager of Homm Saranam Bali.

Before joining the Banyan Tree Group, Hery held management positions at prestigious luxury hotels such as Hyatt, JW Marriott, Four Seasons, and The Ritz Carlton across various locations including the United States, Asia, and the Middle East.

Excited about embarking on this new phase of his career in the Maldives, Hery expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Arriving in the Maldives feels like returning home to Bali. The genuine care of the people and the island lifestyle we encounter every day motivate me to work closely with my team at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Dhawa Ihuru.
