Women encounter various struggles with career progression, mentorship as well as parenting struggles that may effect their career and professional development, that’s why this Worlds Women’s Day we at Aiken Spence Hotels and Resorts, Maldives realized that its important we
recognize and discuss these hardships faced by women.
The event was organized by the Learning and Development team of Aitken Spence, Maldives sector, under the topic “Significance of mental health and well-being in women” The event took place at Adaaran Prestige Vadoo as well as at Adaaran Select Hudhuran-Fushi while the other properties under the Aitken Spence wing joined in virtually. The program laid out the perfect learning ground to raise awareness on the biases that women may face in the broader society while giving the best strategies and inspiration on how to tackle mental health constraints,
challenges and obstacles.
The discussions were led by Professional Psychologist and lecturer Dr. Kalhari Pitigala. The program was formulated in such a way that it included plenty of interaction and plenty of engaging discussions.
At Aitken Spence, we always celebrate the diversity of our work culture and this year through this project we have discovered better ways to support and strengthen our diverse community at work.
