Mohamed Hussain Shihab has been appointed as the Cluster Director of Human Resources for InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort and Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives on March 1st, 2023, representing InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG). Shihab previously served as the Director of Human Resources at InterContinental Maldives for two years before taking on the role of overseeing both IHG resorts in the Maldives. He has over 11 years of experience in the field and has worked in various locations around the world, including the USA, Sri Lanka, and the Middle East, with previous appointments at Anantara and IHG. Shihab is passionate about traveling and is skilled at bringing together teams and workforces of diverse backgrounds and nationalities. As a Male’ native, he is the youngest Maldivian to be appointed in a Cluster Director of Human Resources role.
