JOALI Maldives Collaborates with Tatiana Gecmen-Waldek
JOALI Maldives is teaming up with art curator and consultant Tatiana Gecmen-Waldek in April to bring a unique art and sustainability experience to guests. Tatiana is renowned for her innovative collaborations and cultural content that inspires creativity in people. As a valued partner of JOALI Maldives, she will be showcasing contemporary artwork from famous artists at the resort. Tatiana will be holding exhibitions, performances, limited editions and permanent installations on the property to offer guests a chance to experience art instead of merely seeing it.
JOALI Maldives and Tatiana will host the Imagi-Nature Art Festival from April 14th-18th, 2023. The festival will feature creative collaborations with artists from around the world and offer eco-conscious installations for guests of all ages to interact with. The resort will also celebrate World Art Day on April 15th with a lineup of events. Additionally, the resort is committed to sustainability and supports environmental protection and local populations through initiatives like World Oceans Day and the Olive Ridley Project.
Each piece of artwork displayed at JOALI Maldives will reflect this commitment to sustainability by using recycled waste, clay, or other natural materials. Tatiana’s focus is to bring out the natural beauty of JOALI Maldives while inspiring guests to live a sustainable lifestyle.
