Maamahi Executive Lounge operations has commenced at the new VIP Terminal building at Velana International Airport. Yuji Yamazaki, a well-known architect did the new VIP Terminal building concept, whereas the design of the details was done by AECOM.

The building is 4 story and the newly developed phase 1’s ground floor is specially made to give the VVIP services, upper two floors are dedicated to VIP and CIP services. 4 story VIP Terminal building is being developed as a two-phase project by one of the leading construction companies in China, Beijing Urban Construction Group. The 2

phase construction works are scheduled to start in early 2022.
