Hard Rock Hotel Maldives has announced that Maldives Autism Association has been selected as a 2025 Hard Rock Heals Foundation Grant recipient. The organization received a $5,000 grant to support its work in creating a collaborative environment for parents, community leaders and teachers to work together and providing individualized interventions to the young vibrant minds.
Nominated by the team at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, Maldives Autism Association was chosen from a global pool of nominees to receive funding as part of Hard Rock’s worldwide commitment to healing through philanthropy. The grant is one of 50 awarded this year by the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, totaling $250,000 in donations to local charities around the world.
“We nominated Hard Rock Hotel Maldives because their mission and work speak directly to the needs of our local community,” said Mohamed Adil, Resort Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. “We’re honored to support them and proud to stand with organizations that reflect our values: Love All – Serve All and Take Time to Be Kind.”
Upon receiving the funds, the Maldives Autism Association will enhance its efforts to provide a comprehensive curriculum that fosters essential skills in practical academics, life skills, and creative expression. This program will empower children with ASDs to build independence, emotional well-being, and self-confidence, while also offering avenues for self-expression through arts, physical activities, and social learning. The ultimate goal is to ensure these children can thrive and fully integrate into their families, schools, and communities.
