Emirates: entitled a World Class Airline by The APEX Official Airline Ratings

The new “World Class Airline” award has been created in collaboration with aviation guest experience consultancy Yates and Partners to recognize excellence across a range of different metrics. It is the first rating program in the world to score airlines based autonomously on verified and audited ratings from over a million air travellers.

Emirates became one of the first aircrafts to be perceived in this new honour classification that stands at the zenith of all APEX Passenger Choice Awards. Not only has Emirates been restored as Five Star Airline by APEX but it has also secured its fourth APEX Passenger Choice Award® for Best Entertainment at the APEX/IFSA Awards ceremony.

Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline says: “This is an honour dear to my heart, as it celebrates the amazing work of our worldwide team at Emirates in reaching the new pinnacle of APEX World Class. This recognition is due to the tireless work and efforts by the people of Emirates in delivering safe journeys, stepping up to sustainability initiatives, and in delivering the highest standards of service. I’m confident the World Class paragon will play a very important role in our industry, helping advance a focus on sustainability for the betterment of our world. On behalf of all of us at Emirates, we’re proud to be one of the first airlines worldwide to be named APEX World Class.”

Emirates proves how fundamental passenger comfort and reducing the environmental impact is to them on numerous occasions: They recently drew up an arrangement with GE Aviation to conduct a test flight using 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Emirates is also a proud member of the Clean Skies for Tomorrow coalition, developed by the World Economic Forum.

During the setting of the global pandemic, Emirates was the first airline to carry out the IATA Travel Pass and installed cutting edge biometrics technology for smooth processing and a contactless airport experience. In addition to this, they have taken initiatives such as giving complimentary COVID-19 travel medical cover, enhancing hygiene protocols, fast-tracking refunds as well as rebooking policies and helping their loyal customers to retain tier status and miles, putting them at the top of the industry for assuring customers wellbeing and safety during their journey.

Emirates’ customers have some of the best perks on air: it has the first fully-enclosed Private First Class Suites, iconic Shower Spas and Lounges, in-flight entrainment systems with over 4500 channels. Emirates’ even has an award-winning onboard menu that caters to every taste palate for travellers flying from all over the world. In addition to this they announced a major investment to fit 105 of their aircrafts with their latest Premium Economy product.
