Fushifaru Maldives successfully celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 under the theme “Waves of Kindness – ,” bringing residents and guests together for a series of meaningful and vibrant activities.

The celebrations began on 7 March with a special live painting session at Fanihandhi Bar by artist Rachel Brooks, set against a stunning sunset backdrop. During the session, she created a painting inspired by the vibrant marine life surrounding the island while guests and team members gathered by the beach to enjoy the artistic moment.

The resort also welcomed one of its loyal returning guests, who intentionally visits the property each year during this period to celebrate the occasion, adding a special sense of tradition to the event. On 8 March, the festivities continued with a Women’s Day Cocktail Party where guests and residents came together in a warm and joyful atmosphere.

As part of the celebration, the gentlemen on the island presented flowers to all the women, creating a thoughtful and memorable moment. The evening concluded with an energetic Disco Night featuring a spectacular LED show by Anastasia, bringing colour and excitement to a memorable finale.
