St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Crowned Dhaalu Zone Champions in Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025

The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 Dhaalu Zone reached an exciting conclusion on 14th September 2025, at the Bandidhoo Futsal Ground, hosted by Sun Siyam Iru Veli. In front of an enthusiastic crowd, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli produced a commanding performance to defeat Angsana Velavaru 5–0 in the final, securing the Dhaalu Atoll Champion title.

The event began with the national anthem, attended by distinguished chief guests including Ameeg Ismail, HR Director of Angsana Velavaru; Mohamed Moosa, Council President of Dhaalu Bandidhoo; Nagi Mankarious, Resort Manager of The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli; Lakshmi, Cluster Director of Finance at Sun Siyam Resorts; Mohamed Athif, HR Director of The St. Regis Maldives; Mohamed Najah, Resort Manager of Sun Siyam Iru Veli; Shimhad Ali, HR Director of Sun Siyam Iru Veli; and Ahmed Zahir, General Manager of Angsana Velavaru.

The St. Regis Maldives quickly set the tone in the final, striking twice in the first half to establish control. In the second half, Vommuli extended their dominance with three more goals, closing out a confident 5–0 victory to claim the zone title in style.
