Since joining the resort in 2023 as Marketing & Communications Manager, Alim has played a central role in strengthening the resort’s global profile and driving key milestones.

Within two years, his contributions helped position Kuda Villingili among the Top 10 resorts in the Indian Ocean at leading travel industry awards. He also spearheaded the launch of the resort’s redesigned, SEO-optimised website and introduced a series of digital campaigns that significantly boosted brand visibility and direct bookings.

With over a decade of experience in hospitality marketing, Alim has held roles at Vakkaru Maldives and CROSSROADS Maldives, working with internationally recognised brands such as Hilton and Hard Rock International. His expertise includes brand development, public relations, digital campaign strategy, influencer partnerships, email marketing, content creation, and social media leadership.

As an Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications, Alim will oversee the execution of strategic marketing initiatives at Kuda Villingili, including integrated campaigns, PR, and digital marketing. In his new role, he will focus on further strengthening brand positioning, expanding awareness across key source markets, and driving long-term revenue growth.
