Hulhule Island Hotel Welcomes Ms. Hawwa Fareesha as New Hotel Manager

Hulhule Island Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Hawwa Fareesha as the new Hotel Manager, bringing with her over 28 years of diverse experience in hospitality operations, leadership, and guest services across notable properties in the Maldives.

Ms. Fareesha began her journey in the hospitality industry as a Restaurant Hostess at Banyan Tree Maldives Vabbinfaru and a Receptionist at Ihuru Island Resort. Her career progressed rapidly, taking on increasingly strategic roles in food and beverage management. Notably, she played a pivotal role in the pre-opening of Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa at Kihaadhuffaru, serving as the Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage, where she contributed to SOP development and staff training for multiple outlets including in-room dining.

Her background includes significant leadership experience at internationally recognized resorts such as Soneva Fushi and Six Senses Spa, where she managed a large team and oversaw service delivery across restaurants, bars, and in-villa dining, while championing staff development initiatives.

Beyond her operational strengths, Ms. Fareesha has also excelled in general management and human resources, having worked as the Human Resources Manager at View Builders Pvt Ltd. She later held executive leadership roles at several city hotels, including serving as General Manager of Marble Hotel, General Manager of Somerset Hotel, and General Manager of Coral Hotel & Spa. Most recently, she served as Area General Manager for Intal Hotels, overseeing the performance and strategic direction of three properties.
