Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives), in collaboration with Booking.com, one of the world’s leading digital travel platforms, held a workshop at STELCO Auditorium recently aimed at empowering guesthouse operators across the Maldives.

This workshop, the first of its kind under the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Booking.com and MMPRC, focused on equipping guesthouse owners and managers with essential knowledge, marketing tactics and strategic insights. The aim was to enhance their visibility, build a stronger online presence and ultimately deliver more business through the globally renowned Booking.com platform.

This interactive session offered a unique opportunity for Maldivian guesthouses to gain direct insights from Booking.com. Participants engaged in focused sessions that provided invaluable guidance on elevating their businesses and maximising potential. They learned effective strategies to optimise their property's listing for ideal performance and increased attractiveness to potential guests. Additionally, attendees gained an in-depth understanding of the latest industry trends and cutting-edge tools that directly impact online visibility and revenue generation. The workshop also assisted in strengthening their digital marketing skills, with a view to ultimately enhancing online sales.
