CROSSROADS Maldives, the first multi-integrated destination, joined hands with Maldives Autism Association and invited a group of young minds for a fun-filled afternoon on 3rd May 2025. The Maldives Autism Association (MAA), founded on January 21, 2010, offers essential educational and therapeutic support to children with autism spectrum disorder across the country.
The leaders at CROSSROADS Maldives welcomed the vibrant young individuals along with devoted parents and teachers for a specially curated experience designed to celebrate neurodiversity, promote inclusion, and create lasting memories. The event commenced with a guided visit to the Maldives Discovery Centre, tailored for an interactive experience that offered educational insights into the country’s culture, history, marine life, and the environmental challenges currently facing the nation. This was followed by an enjoyable time at CROSSROADS Marquee, an outdoor event venue with ocean views, where they could enjoy a variety of fun activities and games, including henna art, face painting, and an inflatable playground, etc. From interactive activities to meaningful moments shared, the event was a beautiful reflection of community, compassion, and collaboration.
As part of Green Globe Members, CROSSROADS Maldives prioritizes corporate social responsibility as a fundamental commitment. It aims to implement global sustainable tourism initiatives through various CSR activities and builds connections with the local community. The integrated destination also embeds the sustainable practices from daily life to yearly plans in the operations of the two world-class resorts, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton.
