JEN Maldives Malé by Shangri-La recently hosted an exclusive luncheon for its corporate and media partners to celebrate the launch of the new "Rooted in Nature" menu on Tuesday, 22nd April, on International Mother Earth Day.

The event highlighted the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and community support through the Rooted in Nature culinary program. This global Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts initiative champions the use of fresh, locally sourced, and ethically produced ingredients. By partnering with trusted local farmers and fishermen, JEN Maldives Malé by Shangri-La aims to create a seamless connection between community and cuisine in the thoughtfully curated dishes.

The specially curated menu features sustainable ingredients sourced from nearby markets, line-caught seafood, and organic fruits and vegetables — some grown on the hotel’s own grounds. Through these efforts, JEN Maldives Malé continues to support the local community, reduce its environmental footprint, and offer guests a genuine taste of the Maldives.

The new "Rooted in Nature" menu will be available to guests at Azur Restaurant and for private events hosted in the ballroom at JEN Maldives Malé by Shangri-La.
