One&Only Reethi Rah, the all-villa private island resort, has contributed a generous donation to the Fiyavathi Children’s Shelter located in Hulhumalé.

The resort’s management team visited the shelter on 30 January 2025, to commemorate the gesture and donation worth over MVR237,000, or over USD15,000. The donation included furniture and appliances such as beds, mattresses, air conditioner units, flat screen TVs and desktop computers for the children’s comfort, wellbeing, and to further their entertainment and education.

The biggest state care facility in Hulhumale, Fiyavathi currently shelters 63 underprivileged children, ensuring their basic needs and education are being met. This donation is just one of multiple from One&Only Reethi Rah to Fiyavathi as part of the resort’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to give back to and support local communities in the Maldives. As part of its CSR commitments, One&Only Reethi Rah continues to work with local organisations such as Fiyavathi Children’s Shelter to develop uplifting initiatives that create positive influences on those most in need.
