MMPRC promotes Maldives’ luxury offerings in ILTM’s flagship show, ILTM Cannes 2024

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/ Visit Maldives) showcases the Maldives’ luxury offerings in International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM)’s flagship show, ILTM Cannes 2024. This event is being held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès from 02nd to 05th December 2024, kicking off with the Global Forum on the first day. A total of 12 representatives from 7 companies from the industry are taking part in the event along with Visit Maldives. The companies are Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, Amilla Fushi, Bliss Maldives Pvt Ltd, Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives, JA Manafaru, The Nautilus Maldives, and Villa Resorts.

ILTM Cannes 2024 is a premier luxury travel trade show, attracting key players from the luxury travel sector, including travel advisors and luxury travel brands across the globe. During the event, luxury travel buyers have the opportunity to connect directly with industry partners through personalised meetings, where they gain insights into the Maldives' premium offerings.

France is a significant market for the Maldives, with a strong demand for luxury travel experiences. It is currently the 7th source market for the Maldives. As of October 2024, 1,664,648 travellers arrived from France. By participating in ILTM Cannes 2024, Visit Maldives aims to further strengthen its presence in the French market and attract more French travellers to the islands. Visit Maldives will continue to implement a series of marketing initiatives targeting the French market throughout 2024, including the Discover Maldives Webinar Series.
