Huvafen Fushi Resort to Temporarily Close for a Renovation Project
Huvafen Fushi Maldives has announced that it will undergo renovations starting in the second quarter of 2023 and will reopen in September of the same year. Huvafen Fushi is known for its modern design, exceptional service, and prime location, just a 30-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport, and it has been popular among its loyal guests since its inception.
During the renovations, Huvafen Fushi will maintain its authentic craftsmanship and materials that set it apart, and it will further enhance its guests’ connection to the Maldives. Huvafen has enlisted the help of BLINK Design, renowned architects and interior designers, to revamp its rooms, and Quo Global, branding specialists, to enhance its visual identity. All 44 bungalows will be refurbished, and two new “Two Bedroom Ocean Pavilions” will be added, offering uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. The new design approach takes inspiration from the resort’s pristine surroundings and delivers a minimalistic modern aesthetic that will elevate the luxurious experience.
Noel Cameron, General Manager of Huvafen Fushi, stated that the renovations are part of a scheduled plan to improve the resort’s facilities and services, maintain its position among the leading resorts in the Maldives, and provide guests with a purposeful immersion on the island.
Huvafen Fushi will close on May 15, 2023, and will reopen on September 1, 2023.
