For the Maldives’ AMD cluster hotels, Anantara Veli, Anantara Dhigu, and Naladhu Private Island, Michael Parker has been named general manager.

Michael, a native of the United Kingdom, will be joining the AMD cluster from London’s South Place Hotel. Prior to taking on his present position, Michael served as the managing director of Rosewood Phnom Penh and Rosewood’s properties in China’s Sanya and Guangzhou. Michael has also held general manager positions at Wanda Hotels and GLH Hotels in the UK, as well as the managing director position at Banyan Tree, Shanghai.
