Gourmet Week at Cocoon Maldives with Michelin Starred Chef Silvia Barrachi

The iconic Gourmet week at Cocoon Maldives will be back from December 12 to December 16 in 2022 mesmerize their guests with amazing culinary experiences.

Giovanni De Ambrosis, the corporate chef, and Silvia Baracchi, a guest chef, hosted the event. Chef Silvia is a true Etruscan and the proprietor of Il Falconiere, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Cortona, Italy. She inherited her family’s love of fine cuisine, attention to traditions, and hospitality.

Chef Silvia kicked off the evening with a cooking demonstration at the Loabi – Loabi Bar, followed by two culinary demonstrations at the main restaurant, Octopus, in the lovely backdrop of their illustrious restaurants and bars. A delicious 4-course meal was served as the culmination of the culinary event at Manta Restaurant.

By attempting the particular recipe for one of Chef Silvia Baracchi’s hallmark meals, you can bring a taste of Italy into your own kitchen.

The Cocoon Collection Lounge

 

The Cocoon Collection Airport Lounge has just opened in the new Seaplane Terminal. The Cocoon Collection is a luxury hotel chain that owns Cocoon Maldives and You & Me Maldives.

The newest addition to the brand’s 5-star hospitality offerings, this facility will improve the experience for visitors. The 280 square meter Airport Lounge will give visitors an extension of the opulent experience that the Cocoon brand has to offer, both before they even arrive at the resorts and following check-out until the departure of the international flight.

The lounge will enable a smooth and enjoyable flight with free internet wi-fi, a variety of drinks, and a customer service desk with room for 85 people.

The Cocoon Collection airport representative team is available to help at New Seaplane Terminal on the first floor, 1-L-08, and Counter C14 of Velana International Airport.
