Visit Maldives announces a Crowd Advertising campaign with Malaysian Ad-Tech startup MyBump Media!
The world’s premier luxury destination’s promotional company partners with Malaysia’s leading crowd advertising ad-tech platform to promote tourism in the Maldives. The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), under the Visit Maldives banner, has announced a crowd advertising campaign with Malaysian AdTech startup MyBump Media on 18th March 2021.
The campaign is held from 17th March to 17th May which aims to promote the Maldives as the preferred and safe tourist destination for Malaysian travelers to target Southeast Asian markets to increase destination awareness and promote the Maldivian brand of tourism by showcasing unique experiences of the Maldives. There are 3 different campaign creatives driving exposure to #VisitMaldives all over the roads of Kuala Lumpur. The campaign will focus on ambient outdoor campaigns to strengthen and promote the Maldivian tourism industry with 30 brand ambassadors crowd advertising on the roads of Malaysia, covering prominent areas such as KL City Centre and both KLIA and KLIA2. In addition to outdoor campaigns, the Visit Maldives campaign also focused on digital awareness, including email marketing, social media and more.

This year also celebrates the Golden Jubilee celebration of tourism in the Maldives, celebrating 50 years of tourism, where multiple events & activities will be conducted throughout the year. MMPRC has planned over 60 in-person events for the year 2022, including 11 fairs, roadshows, and events scheduled for the first quarter of the year.
