Maldives Butler Academy Concludes Butler Training for Soneva Jani!
The Maldives Butler Academy has successfully concluded a Butler training program aimed at a significant number of Barefoot Butlers and hosts from various nationalities working at Soneva Jani from March 7th to March 10th, 2022.
“Being blessed with the opportunity to do the Butler Training for the company that first taught me to become a butler has been a very surreal experience for me. I’m very thankful,” said Mohamed Yamany, President, and Principal Trainer at Maldives Butler Academy.
Maldives Butler Academy is the first Butler Academy registered and recognized by the Ministry of Tourism in the Maldives to develop and specialize professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry. Maldives Butler Academy will focus on the development of individuals who share the ideals of creating positive once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the people that they will serve. All trainings at the Maldives Butlers Academy are offered to both locals and foreigners.
This initiative spearheaded by Mohamed Yamany started with his desire and dream to contribute his knowledge and experience back to Maldives by creating the Maldives Butler Academy with the overall vision of its graduates to reflect the true excellence of island hospitality which is unique on its own. The content of the Butler Training course is developed with the input of the hospitality veterans in the Maldives to make it more relevant to the one island one resort concept. Yamany also aims to one day extend the academy’s training outside the borders of Maldives.
