RT-PCR report not required, Indian Govt issues new guidelines for international travelers!
On February 14th the guidelines Union Ministry of Health Affairs which lists out the protocol to be followed by the international travelers, airlines and the ports of entries will be under effect. These protocols must be followed by everyone til further notice as per the Union Ministry of Health Affairs.
According to the new guidelines that will come into effect, the tourists visiting India will be required to fill a form before the scheduled arrival date in the online self-declaration form which will be available on the portal of Air Suvidha. The details filled in the form should consist of data of the travelers taken within the past 14 days.
Moreover, the passengers boarding the flights will have to undergo a thermal screening and if they are showing symptoms during the time of screening, as per the medical procedure they will be isolated, and the contact tracing will be done.
Regarding this decision by the Indian government, Head of sales at Amaya Kuda Rah, Aditya Raj Singh said,” Someday we need to come out of this blockage and the biggest democracy of the world has taken a positive step be releasing No RTPCR for the international travelers”. He also mentioned that with this change Indian tourist numbers will grow to the destination and tourism will improve.
