Atik Atikeys creative Christmas tree is showcased as the centerpiece for Kandima Maldive’s festive celebrations!
Hussain Atheek started his journey as a self-taught artist at just the mere age of 9. From soft pastels and acrylics to digital art and portraits to concept art, he has over 12 years of expertise in different mediums. With over a decade of field experience in organizing art events, exhibitions, and festivals he sure has a lot of wisdom to share with all aspiring artists. Not only has he participated in several national and international art competitions and exhibitions, but the art studios he runs at high-end resorts of Maldives is a hit amongst the tourists. The studios are known for curating creative spaces with classes and workshops for guests, collaborative group exhibitions, and for the arrangements of resident artists to conduct on-site art events on a rolling basis. These years of his constant contributions and artistic progress have paid off, as his work can now be seen all over the world.
Atheek’s most recent work was seen at the Kandima Maldives resort’s, Christmas tree lighting ceremony. His contribution- A captivating carefully crafted christmas tree was a sight for sore eyes. From the vibrant colors to the precise and skillfully carved details on the tree, everything did justice to the representation of house reef and the corals. This Christmas tree, that contrast every other tree has surely been the talk of the town.
