Marriott International Road To Give 2023 Maldives Returns
Marriott International, a global leader in hospitality, is proud to announce the return of its annual charity initiative, Road to Give 2023, in the picturesque Maldives with an inaugural event on October 7, 2023 at the Hulhumale Central Park officiated by His Excellency Vice President of the Maldives, Faisal Naseem.
Road to Give 2023, a transformation of the beloved Run To Give campaign, promotes fitness, unity, and philanthropy by encouraging associates to run, walk, or cycle a 3K marathon, with the proceeds benefiting the TakeCare program – a testament to Marriott’s unwavering commitment to the community and the well-being of its associates.
Following the kick-off event, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, W Maldives, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort and Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa hosted the Road to Give activations in their respective premises until October 22, 2023. Resorts will also organize a fundraiser among associates and guests through T-shirt sales while the proceeds will go to neighboring schools in their respective location, which emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration with the local communities.
The TakeCare initiative is a prominent pillar in the framework of the core values of Marriott International. TakeCare, a charitable initiative by Marriott International, provides much-needed financial grants to associates facing hardships, and to support the community and raise funds in support of and to give back to the local communities.
