Maurice Van Den Bosch: General Manager of Jawakara Islands
Maurice Van Den Bosch, the current General Manager of Kuredu Island Resort and Spa, has been appointed as the General Manager of Jawakara Islands Maldives, the newest addition to Crown and Champa Resorts (CCR).
Expected to officially open in October this year, the new resort will begin its hospitality journey with Maurice, who has accumulated over 24 years of experience in luxury hospitality. Throughout his career, Maurice has climbed the ladder of success in the industry, achieving excellence at every level. He has garnered significant accomplishments in Australia, New Zealand, and the Maldives.
Maurice started his Maldives tourism journey in 2017 as the Resort Manager at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO. He then progressed to the role of General Manager at Atmosphere Kanifushi and later became the Vice President of Operations for Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts at the group level. He was also involved in the Pre-Opening of Le Meridien Maldives and played a crucial role in enhancing services and guest experience at Coco Bodu Hithi.
As the General Manager of Kuredu Island Resort & Spa, Maurice made significant contributions to the resort’s success. His strong work ethics and management skills have led to the resort receiving numerous Traveler’s Choice Awards.
“I strongly believe in the idea of ‘All for one and one for all’ when it comes to management. The success of the resort can only be achieved if the team operating it is successful. To me, there is no greater achievement than having an empowered team that delivers exceptional service and constantly challenges themselves,” said Maurice.
Situated in Lhaviyani atoll, Jawakara Islands Maldives embodies traditional luxury with a vibrant and modern twist. As the General Manager of this remarkable property, Maurice will oversee the necessary requirements for a successful pre-opening strategy and ensure a meticulous quality process to consistently deliver guest satisfaction.
