The maiden flight took off from Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and landed at the Maldives’ main Velana International Airport on Tuesday morning. For the return journey, flights will depart from Velana International Airport at 9:05 am local time, reaching Riyadh at 1 pm local time. Previously, Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, operated flights to the Maldives twice a week, specifically on Mondays and Fridays.
