Cora Cora Maldives: First 5 Star Resort of SHe Travel Club

Cora Cora Maldives has proudly announced its latest achievement as the recipient of the esteemed SHe Travel Club Label, making it the first five-star resort in the Maldives and the second destination to receive this prestigious recognition. With the resort’s Gold Status accreditation, Cora Cora Maldives is now officially recognized as a safe haven for women travelers, including solo adventurers, female groups, and families.

This exclusive honor has only been bestowed upon just over 200 hotels worldwide, solidifying Cora Cora Maldives as a premier destination that prioritizes the comfort and security of its female guests. The SHe Travel Club Label upholds the classification of hotels based on women’s specific needs and expectations, conducting meticulous evaluations of properties to ensure safety, service quality, comfort, and dining experiences.

Despite women comprising 64% of global travelers, a disheartening eight out of 10 female travelers believe that their travel companies do not adequately address their safety concerns. Cora Cora Maldives understands the transformative power of travel for women, encompassing personal fulfillment, economic independence, and boundary-pushing experiences. The resort has consistently embraced this notion, continuously seeking innovative ways to inspire women and young girls throughout the destination. In addition to being the first Maldivian resort with an all-female Airport Team and an all-female Culinary Team at Ginger Moon®, Cora Cora Maldives proudly boasts that women hold 50% of its management positions, an extraordinary accomplishment in an industry traditionally dominated by men.

Anna Karaseva, Sales & Marketing Manager at Cora Cora Maldives, expressed utmost pride in the resort’s dedication to enhancing the travel experience for women. She emphasized that creating a safe and inclusive environment for guests and staff remains a top priority, particularly for solo female travelers. Karaseva enthusiastically added that the recognition from the SHe Travel Club is a significant milestone and affirms their commitment to ensuring guests feel secure and comfortable throughout their stay.

The coveted SHe Travel Club Label is bestowed upon hotels that align with the organization’s mission to promote gender equality in the hospitality industry. The SHe Travel Club conducts extensive studies across multiple countries to understand the expectations and requirements of women while traveling. Their promise, “SHe, Safe and Happy everywhere,” is a testament to the organization’s commitment to providing women with peace of mind and quality assurance away from home. The recommendations from the independent and global SHe hotel labeling organization are based on exclusive surveys of 5,000 women across five countries.

At Cora Cora Maldives, guests can immerse themselves in a remarkable experience that celebrates Maldivian culture, offers unique experiences, and indulges their culinary desires.
