Keerthi Soja Remanan Appointed as the New Director of Finance at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has named Keerthi Soja Remanan as its new Director of Finance. The luxury resort is known for its unique features such as the world’s first undersea restaurant, Ithaa, and the world’s first underwater villa, The Muraka. As part of Conrad Hotels & Resorts, a Hilton global luxury hotel brand, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island aims to maintain its financial growth and sustainability under the leadership of Keerthi.
Keerthi has been in the hospitality industry for over 16 years and is considered an industry veteran. His extensive experience in financial management at luxury hospitality brands, including his most recent role as Assistant Director of Finance at Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, makes him a valuable addition to the team. As Director of Finance, Keerthi will oversee all financial planning and operations at the resort, ensuring its long-term financial health.
Keerthi has spent the past several years working with the Hilton group, holding senior positions at various luxury properties across the UAE. With a graduate degree in commerce in India, Keerthi began his hospitality journey with Hilton Al Ain. He believes in the importance of adapting to new technologies, driving the top line by understanding the product, commercial acumen, and focusing on people.
Carla Puverel, General Manager of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, expressed her excitement about Keerthi’s appointment. She is confident that his expertise across all aspects of finance and his long association with the Hilton Group will play a key role in helping the award-winning resort achieve new heights through his innovative finance structures.
Keerthi is thrilled to renew his association with the Hilton group and set new benchmarks for Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. He plans to become a business partner and collaborator instead of a traditional finance professional to support the growth of the resort. Keerthi’s appointment is expected to further elevate Conrad Maldives Rangali Island’s status as a luxury destination and enhance its reputation as a financial powerhouse in the hospitality industry.
