In addition, it has a mosque, changing rooms, retail shops, barbecue pits, and huts, and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced plans to develop a smaller island dedicated to scout and girl-guide activities.
Bookings to visit the island must be made in advance through the Kudagiri hotline, email, or HDC website, with entrance fees of MVR 50 for adults and MVR 25 for children below the age of 12. The island is a 10-minute boat ride from Male' and can accommodate 500 to 600 people at a time.
