One&Only Reethi Rah has revealed that British singer-songwriter Jessie J will lead its entertainment programme for New Year’s Eve, performing exclusively for guests as the Maldivian resort welcomes the arrival of 2027. The appearance continues the private island resort’s tradition of bringing internationally recognised artists to the Maldives for its year-end celebrations.

The performance will take place during the resort’s New Year’s Eve Gala on 31 December 2026. Celebrations will open beside the beach with a cocktail reception before moving into an evening of dining, entertainment and live performances overlooking the Indian Ocean. Jessie J will then take centre stage as the countdown to the new year approaches.

Jessie J rose to international prominence through a career spanning pop, soul and contemporary R&B. Songs including Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang helped establish her global following, while her career has also brought recognition including a BRIT Critics’ Choice Award and a Grammy nomination. Beyond her work as a recording artist, she has appeared as a coach on The Voice UK, The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids UK.

Her appearance will be one of the main highlights of the resort’s wider festive season, presented this year under the theme “Time as One.” The programme has been designed around spending meaningful time together, with experiences aimed at couples, families and guests of different ages. Across the festive period, visitors will be able to take part in seasonal traditions alongside special dining experiences, wellness programmes and activities both on the island and in the surrounding waters.

Festivities at One&Only Reethi Rah are scheduled to begin on 20 December 2026 with the resort’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Cocktail. Celebrations will continue through the New Year period and conclude with an Orthodox New Year Gala Dinner in January. Guests are encouraged to make reservations for festive experiences in advance.

The resort is also accepting enquiries and bookings for its festive programme through its VIP services and reservations teams.
