ITF Asia to Host First Travel and Tourism Exhibition in the Maldives on April 22-24, 2024

A new travel and tourism exhibition called the International Travel Fair (ITF) Asia is set to take place in the Maldives in April 2024. The three-day event will be held at Hulhumale Central Park, and aims to bring together exhibitors, buyers, and trade visitors. The Maldives is known as the world’s leading destination, having held this title for the past three years.

ITF Asia is one of the first international travel and tourism exhibitions to be held in the Maldives, and is expected to attract approximately 200 exhibitors and 5,000 trade visitors from around the globe. Exhibitors will include a diverse range of travel-related businesses such as travel agents, hotels, airlines, MICE agencies, insurance providers, tour companies, travel publications, and cruise tour operators.

Aside from B2B meetings and networking opportunities, the exhibition will host sessions on important topics related to the global tourism industry, such as sustainable tourism, travel technology, and digital marketing. Mohamed Bassam Adam, the event director, shared that they paid a courtesy call to the Minister of Tourism, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom, to provide information on the upcoming exhibition.

ITF Asia is a promising addition to the tourism landscape in the Maldives, and will offer opportunities for businesses to showcase their products and services to a global audience, as well as learn about the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
