Celebrate an Exciting Easter Holiday with JOALI Maldives this April

To celebrate the upcoming Easter weekend, JOALI Maldives has announced an exciting lineup of events that will take place between April 6th-12th, 2023. The luxurious resort promises a week-long series of events that will provide endless opportunities for adventure, creativity, exhilaration, and indulgence on the stunning ‘Island of Joy’ in the Indian Ocean.

Families visiting the island during the Easter weekend will be delighted with the Easter-themed activities at the Muramas Kids Club. Children will have the opportunity to bake and decorate their own bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls, engage in Easter-themed games like hop & pop and bunny run, and participate in an Island Egg Hunt. Arts and crafts activities will also be available, including egg painting, sock bunny making, Easter wreath making, and cotton wall bunny crafting. Personalized Easter egg treasure hunts will also be available for families to enjoy together.

The resort will also offer a gastronomical affair this Easter with indulgent feasts hosted at Vandhoo, Bellini’s, TUH’U, and Saoke. Specially curated menus will be available at Saoke with Executive Chef Yamamoto, and a grand beachside brunch will be served on Easter Sunday, followed by a sunset cocktail reception and evening feast for guests to indulge in. Guests can also participate in sushi-making classes, Chef-led garden tours, salad-making sessions, and evening mixology masterclasses. Children can also join the fun with junior Teppanyaki experiences or opt for the ‘Little Chef’ cooking and juice mixology classes.

For avid art enthusiasts, the resort will offer private ceramic art classes led by resident artist Nataliya Kuleshova, where guests can participate in ceramic painting, creation workshops, and ceramic glazing. Guests can also explore the interactive art trail, featuring sculptures, paintings, tapestries, and more, curated in collaboration with local artisans and international artists, providing a message on sustainability, nature, and community to guests.

Guests can also enjoy the marine life magic on the island with private speedboat trips, scuba diving experiences, sunset cruises, dolphin quests, and big game fishing adventures. There will be a range of water sports activities available, including glass-bottom kayaking, jet ski rides, paddleboarding, semi-submarine tours, and sea-bob adventures. Conservationists can also join Marine Biologists on guided snorkeling tours or help plant coral fragments in the coral nursery, while also learning about ocean conservation.

Adventure-seekers can find their calling in bespoke court facilities, where family and friend groups can enjoy heated games of tennis or padel or share the competitive spirit over a football championship cup. The visiting Kung Fu Black Belt champion, Master Sifu Aniket, will also be available throughout the Easter period for guests to train in the arts of Kung Fu, martial arts, and kickboxing, both privately and as a group.

For guests seeking mindfulness and wellbeing, the ESPA Spa will offer awakening yoga flows, family beach yoga sessions, and Yin Yoga, practiced at the spa’s picturesque overwater yoga pavilion. Guests can also end each day in a state of pure relaxation with crystal bowl meditation and Full Moon bonfire meditation sessions hosted at the spa’s scenic beach area.

Guests wishing to extend their stay beyond the Easter weekend can participate in the Imagi-Nature Art Festival, taking place from April 14th-18th, 2023. JOALI Maldives will collaborate with International Art Consultant, Tatiana Gecmen-Waldek, to bring an extraordinary selection of contemporary art to the resort, in the form of exhibitions, artistic performances, and the unveiling of brand-new permanent installations. The festival, which harmoniously blends art and messaging of sustainability, offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in
