Transformative Healing with Javier De Prado Lizano
Duration: 1st January-10th April 2023 , 24th November 2023-1st March 2024
Javier De Prado Lizano, an expert in craniosacral and Watsu therapies and a promoter of visceral manipulation and Osteothai techniques, will offer guests an opportunity to enhance their stay with a combination of Eastern and Western healing practices. Drawing on De Prado Lizano’s experiences and education from therapeutic experts of different cultures, the sessions will concentrate on guiding guests towards inner transformation and holistic well-being.
Natural Healing with Alexandra Demolling
Duration: 1st January-15th April 2023 , 15th December 2023-18th March 2024
Demolling is a proficient naturopath and iridologist who will use herbal and vibrational remedies to help guests achieve a holistic balance of their mind and body. Her expertise will aid in treating issues such as stress, inflammation, and food intolerances while assisting guests in discovering their true selves with purpose.
Demolling obtained her vast knowledge and training from the School of Italian Holistic Medicine in Milan, and now she brings her therapies to the Indian Ocean. During her stay, guests can participate in Demolling’s Bach floral consultations, human design readings, and iridology readings supported by naturopathic advice.
Freeing the Body & Mind in Water with Toru Ogasawara
Duration: 1st February-15th March 2023
Watsu is a novel aquatic bodywork technique that involves stretching, massages, and movements, conducted overwater. Toru Ogasawara, a certified Senior Instructor of the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association and CEO & Executive Instructor of Okinawa Watsu Centre, will provide this treatment at JOALI BEING. Ogasawara will guide guests through interesting sessions, supporting their bodies in water to improve muscle tone, range of motion, alignment, breath quality, sleep patterns, circulation, and heart rate.
Guests can enjoy 60 and 90-minute Watsu treatments with the renowned practitioner, experiencing a deeper sense of release in their bodies and minds.
Neuroscientist in Residence – Dr. Tara Swart Bieber
Duration: 2nd April-17th April 2023
Dr. Tara Swart Bieber is a highly regarded PhD neuroscientist and medical doctor trained at Oxford University. She is also a professor at MIT Sloan, an Executive Advisor, and a bestselling author on Science and Spirituality. Her research is centered on intriguing areas of neuroscience such as neuroplasticity, the gut-brain axis, psych-dermatology, and brain optimization. During her residency, Dr. Bieber will offer guests immersive experiences to enhance their stay and prepare them for re-engaging with daily life.
Dr. Bieber will conduct various sessions to help guests find personal clarity, such as individual executive coaching, reinvention based on neuroplasticity, individual wellbeing consultations, and group-guided meditation focused on nervous system resetting or cognitive enhancement. These creative sessions will help guests improve their well-being and discover new ways to engage with life.
The WiseMotion Method with Dr. Hanna Poikonen

Dr. Hanna Poikonen is a neurologist, dancer, and movement specialist who holds a doctoral degree in the neuroscience of movement, dance, and music from the University of Helsinki in Finland. She has integrated her scientific knowledge with her experience in studying contemporary dance, martial arts, and meditation to develop the WiseMotion method. This method focuses on improving physical abilities, self-awareness, and social bonding through movement and neuroscience.
During her residency at the resort, Dr. Hanna will conduct workshops and masterclasses for guests, including individual and group retreats, outdoor calm and aware movement meditation sessions, and weightlessness achieved through dance sessions. Her WiseMotion masterclass will cover brain health, high performance, and stress management, enlightening guests on various disciplines throughout her stay.
