Alexander Lopez has been appointed to Resort Manager at W Maldives from Director of Operations.

Alex started working with Marriott in 2009 as a Night Auditor at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. He worked his way up to opening the W Barcelona and then became the Welcome Manager at the W Koh Samui.

Prior to working at W Maldives, Alex held the post of Resident Manager at W Koh Samui during the changeover of the general manager. After that, he moved on to the position of Director of Rooms at the Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort, where he served as Resort Manager for three months. Due to his considerable success, he has worked in nations such as Sweden, Switzerland, China, Spain, and Thailand.

Alex began his career with W Maldives as Director of Operations. He committed to his own growth while honing his skills, and he has proven to be a valuable member of the group and W Maldives.
