Sandeep Kumar Rai is appointed as the executive chef of OBLU SELECT Sangeli

Sandeep Kumar Rai has been appointed as the resort’s executive chef by OBLU SELECT Sangeli.

Sandeep began his long and successful career in the culinary and hospitality industries at The Oberoi Grand Kolkata as a food production assistant, where he received in-depth instruction in a variety of cooking methods and cuisines.

Before joining the OBLU SELECT Sangeli team in 2021, Sandeep served as Executive Sous Chef at The Rotana Abu Dhabi in the interim. Sandeep has a Bachelor of Hospitality Management from the NSH.

Sandeep’s success has been largely attributed to his love of food and commitment to the culinary arts.M Academy in addition to his practical experience.
