Maldives will take part in SATTE and OTM to increase brand awareness
Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) reports that it is preparing to participate in significant future trade exhibitions in the nation in order to further boost the Maldives brand’s visibility and secure the Indian outbound market with its distinctive products. The plan builds on MMPRC’s current efforts to keep India as the island nation’s biggest source market.
Visit Maldives has announced that it will be attending the top travel and tourism trade shows in India, One World Travel Market (OTM) and South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE).
According to the announcement, MMPRC/Visit Maldives will lead the delegations to the travel trade fairs along with hotel partners and stakeholders in the tourist sector. To learn more about the exciting tourism options offered by the Maldives, attendees at the exhibitions will have the chance to network with local suppliers from the country, including hotels, resorts, guest houses, liveaboards, and destination management companies. They will also have the opportunity to engage with representatives from Visit Maldives and their industry partners.
Thoyyib Mohamed, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO and MD) of MMPRC said, “We look forward to participating in India’s prominent travel trade events, OTM and SATTE, as they serve as pragmatic platforms for promoting tourism into the Maldives. India continues to be a key source market for us, and through our participation, we aim to sustain the Maldives’ presence and appeal in the Indian market. We are enthusiastic about showcasing our destination’s offerings as well as the exciting upcoming developments to our trade partners in India,”.
