Discover Oaga Art Resort’s culinary voyage of Maldivian delights
From gourmet meals to craft brews… From tiffin box deliveries to street food stalls… These upscale eating selections are very unique from the typical dining choices being offered.
Kaa Kada, the main restaurant
A rough translation of Kaa Kada is “Food Stalls.” The ultimate comfort of meals offered on a crowded street serves as the idea for this establishment. Those modest little stalls, whose flavor will always, without fail, hit close to heart. The main restaurant’s street-style carts offer selections for pasta, mixed grill, seafood, south asian, and oriental cuisine. Watch the cooks preparing the a la carte meals behind the counter. Enjoy it in a simple, cozy environment on an island. The all-inclusive package offered at Oaga Art Resort includes breakfast, lunch, and supper here at Kaa Kada.
If you’re looking for places to eat after restaurants close, there is a stall called “Midnight Munchies” that is available every day of the week from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Another idea that is quite recognizable to everyone who has stayed up late. Last but not least, use the Thashibari delivery service to have your food delivered on a tricycle and in a tiffin box if you are too exhausted to walk to the restaurant. The first delivery is always free.
Samaasaa, theatrical dining
This specialized restaurant, a first in the Maldives, offers a theatrical experience bringing Maldivian folktales to your dinner tables. Your five-course dinner is served as the narrative progresses scene by scene. Immerse yourself in lore stories that feature scenes of sorcery before being offered Sihuru as a reward. Intimacy provided by a traditional Fann’ge, a hut with palm thatchings, is suggestive of the restaurant, which is situated in the farthest corner of the island. The show’s tickets must be reserved in advance.
Raa Baa, the main bar & pool
The atmosphere is always upbeat in the main bar and pool. Sushi and tempura are two Japanese alternatives on the bar’s limited snack food menu. We advise you to join the crowd in the party pods or swim a few laps in the Maldives’ largest hand-painted mural pool. Maldivian Bodu Beru beats give even the pool parties an elevated feel. As part of the all-inclusive package, guests are given access to an endless variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and evening high tea.
Sobi Bar, the beer garden
An international selection of artisan gins and beers are available at this pub. It is the perfect location to spend a balmy afternoon, and while you’re there, you may enjoy one free beer sample!
