Varun Bharadwaja, who has over 17 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, has been given the role of the Director of Sales and Marketing at Raffles Maldives. He has achieved good recognition such as, the Best Sales Manager in 2009, Alumni Excellence Award in 2010 and more throughout his career.

Previously Varun worked at the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort as their Director of Sales and Marketing for three years, where he played a key role in the pre-opening team for Marriott International’s, Westin Maldives Miriandhoo. He worked for the Taj brand at New Delhi India and took the role of Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing at Taj Exotica and Taj Coral Reef Resort and Spa, Maldives.
