On February 5th, the Maldives Integration Tourism Development Corporation (MITDC) launched that the very first Sailing Rally – Savaadheeththa Dhathuru to enhance the number of visitors that travel to the Maldives for the intention of sailing.

The rally began in HA. Hoarafushi, and a special ceremony was organized during the commemoration to honor the establishment of a specialist Soft Sailing Training Center. JLS Super Yachts, located in Dubai, will run the facility. The Minister of Higher Education, Ibrahim Hassan, granted them permission to operate.
