Canareef Maldives Resort officially opens after 2 years
On the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, Canareef, one of the few resorts in the Southernmost Addu atoll, closed its doors in 2020, has reopened its doors for tourists on Saturday.
The resort claimed in a statement that it has completed critical remodeling work prior to the reopening to enhance the system quality and offers. The resort will welcome visitors to the 142 rooms east of the arrival jetty and reception area in the first phase of restoration.
Canareef expressed gratitude to the Maldivian authorities and the resort’s partners. “Going forward, despite the challenges ahead, we remain positive and will continue to enhance our product and increase our offerings here at Canareef Resort Maldives. To that end, we have immense pleasure in announcing that we would be reopening more rooms in the coming days.” the statement stated.
Canareef Maldives Resort is about an hour’s flight from Male’ and is easily accessible via Gan International Airport on Addu Atoll.
