A renewed chapter of island wellbeing unfolds across Coco Collection, a truly Maldivian-owned resort brand celebrated for its personalised hospitality and soulful island settings.  Inspired by the successful Two-Island Wellness Escape in celebration of Global Wellness Day (13 June) and International Yoga Day (21 June), led by visiting wellness practitioner, Zelmaré Viljoen, founder of Soul & Skin Wellness Abu Dhabi, Coco Bodu Hithi and Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, continue to celebrate mindful living, meaningful moments and a deeper connection with nature.  Rooted in the rhythm of the ocean and the restorative power of island life, it brings together wellness, movement, and marine experiences in a natural and authentic way.

Coco Spa is at the heart of this wellbeing journey.  At Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, the spa is tucked within lush tropical vegetation. Guests can also enjoy wellness experiences such as yoga, meditation and breathwork in a peaceful island setting.  At Coco Bodu Hithi, overwater treatment rooms, a yoga pavilion and an overwater gym overlook the lagoon. Wellness offerings include sunrise and sunset yoga, sound healing and private sessions designed to promote relaxation and balance.  Signature experiences available at both resorts include the Coco Signature Treatment, featuring the Journey to Maldives, and Island Seashell Massage, designed to ease tension and promote a sense of balance and relaxation.  While each spa has its own character, both share the same purpose: to help guests slow down, switch off, and reconnect through soothing treatments, mindful movement and restorative experiences inspired by island life.

Set within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu marked World Environment Day (5 June), World Oceans Day (8 June) and World Sea Turtle Day (16 June) through experiences celebrating nature, conservation, and island life.  A standout highlight remains the Marine Turtle Rescue Centre, which this year celebrates 10 years of partnership with the Olive Ridley Project (ORP).  Guests can learn about and support the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured sea turtles.  The resort's ongoing efforts have also been recognised with nominations for Leading Dive Hotel/Resort, Leading Eco-Friendly Hotel/Resort, and South Asia’s Best GM - Siraj Ali Waseem at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026.
